Vicram Maharaj

Vicram Maharaj passed away on July 26th, 2016 surrounded by family and friends. Vic was the beloved husband of Wendy and treasured father of Joshua. Vic Maharaj was the first born of Harash (deceased) and Bhagwandai (Darling) Maharaj on March 6, 1961 and son-in-law to Sheila and Bernard Mohammed. He was cherished brother to Vashti, Kailash, Asha, Shobha and Satee and their spouses Tara, Naitraj, Andy, Krishna, Ariel, Bruce,; to Judy, Jules, Jury, Jennifer, Jacqueline, Jeff, and Jennel and their spouses Judy, Melissa, Rebecca and Pasha. He was an indulgent and caring uncle to Brandon, Daniel, Dylan, Alex, Faith, Caitlin, Beth, Miki, Jared, Nicholas, Gen (Kassim), Chris, Ricky (Deborah), Miguel (Sandra), Anthony, Krystal, Laura, Jada, Julissa, Aidan, Amelie, Annika, Karishma, Johnny, and grand-uncle to Ty, Mateo, Leandro. He will also be greatly missed by his extended family and church community.
Vic graduated from Ryerson with a B.A. in Chemical Engineering and went on to work at Magna and Network Studios (St. Josephs’ Printing). His hobbies included watching old westerns and kung fu movies, playing cricket, soccer (football) and he had an orange belt in karate.
