Beloved husband and companion to Michelina (nee Taccogna) for over 50 wonderful years. Loving and devoted father to Felicea (Danny), Laura (Cory) and Nick (Jennifer). Proud and adored nonno and grampa to Rosa, Michael, Jack, Mitch, Alyssa, Ryan and Breanna and loving great grampa to Ava and Julian. Dear brother of Giulia Pizzitelli (Giuseppe), Maria Regina (late Frank), Domenica Trentadue (Vito), predeceased by Giovanni Cea (Maria) and Paul Cea (Carmela). Mauro will be greatly missed by his sisters in law Carmela Bavaro (late Giuseppe) and Anna Florio (late Nicola), predeceased by Giuseppe Taccogna. He will be forever remebered by his many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends who loved him dearly. Family and friends will be received at the Highland Funeral Home `Scarborough Chapel`` 3280 Sheppard Avenue East (West of Warden Ave.) 416-773-0933 on Monday April 18 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. and also on Tuesday April 19 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday April 20th at 12:30 p.m. at St. Lawrence The Martyr Roman Catholic Chuch.
