Devoted husband to Rose Marie Traynor for fifty-five years. Loving father to Blair, Brian and his wife Yvonne, Jimmy and his partner Susan, Dale and his wife Margie. Cherished Poppa to Lindsay, Calli, Jenna, Sarah, Ashley and Ryan, and Great-Poppa to Jacob. Dear brother to Florence Keach and the late Audrey, Vivian and Pauline.&nbsp; He will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. &ldquo;Jim&rdquo; was a long time employee of the International Union of Elevator Constructors Local 50. As a young man, he served with the Royal Canadian Navy. Family and friends may visit the Highland Funeral Home, 3280 Sheppard Avenue East (just west of Warden Ave.) on Thursday, February 28, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, March 1, at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Highland Memory Gardens, with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim's name can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. </p> </div>
