<div itemprop="description">CASTAGNOZZI, Domenico <br /> <br />(April 7, 1927 - April 14, 2014) <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a dear husband and father, Domenico Castagnozzi, after his 87th birthday, surrounded by his loving wife, Rocchina of 57 years, and his four children, Carmela (Lucien), John (Grace), Franca (Andy) and Domenic Jr. and grandchildren Lucien C.D. (Jen), Natalie, Andrea, Johnathan and Drew. He finally succumbed after a courageous battle with cancer at Providence Healthcare Centre on April 14, 2014. Domenico was a prominent businessman and owner of Domenic's Auto Service at 445 Pharmacy Avenue for nearly 50 years. Visitation will be held at The Highland Funeral Home, 3280 Sheppard Avenue East (416-773-0933) on Sunday April 20, 2014 from 5-9 p.m. and on Monday April 21, 2014 from 5-9 p.m. The funeral mass will take place at Epiphany of our Lord Roman Catholic Church (3200 Pharmacy Avenue) on Tuesday April 22, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Pine Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, we graciously accept donations to either The Canadian Cancer Society or The Heart and Stroke Foundation. The family is grateful for the gentle attention and care provided to Domenico by his caregiver Gemma in his last years and the staff in palliative care at Providence Healthcare Centre.</div>
